April Lockhart

April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began the guitar and piano lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited curiosity. When April was 12, she composed her first single Different. At the age of 14, April devoted much of her day creating and playing with songs. Over the next few months, she began taking notes together with her dad on trips to LA as well as NY. April was also able to add other themes in the tune "Take My Hand" for some of the friends she had who struggled with concerns like peer pressure problems, as well as teenage suicide. Lockhart is a popular figure and is an online lifestyle blogger for the popular Ilia Clean Beauty brand. She has a disability that is a component of her identity, but it's not all of the of the picture. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't cover up her disability, but it does not concentrate solely on her disability. What is the message? The message? We have many different aspects, that our physical and identity bodies aren't what appear. Lockhart is interviewed via video in Nashville. "I do not want it to define my existence. I do not want to be only recognized as an expert in disabilities. My everyday life isn't directly affected by disability. I lead a normal, everyday life and find myself solutions for problems. However, it's a component of me, so I believe it's essential to discuss. Her journey to self-acceptance will be one that lasts for a long time, and she is an inspiration with regard to this. Still, she acknowledges going through phases of insecurity with her body and feeling uncomfortable wearing some clothing types which exposed her arms. Now she wears whatever outfit she wants and posts pictures on Facebook with pride. Self-love she said is a process. "I believe that you will ever be in that place," she said. The same is true for everybody regardless of levels of anxiety. It's important to surround yourself with people who can really see the person you are.
