Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four siblings was born on August 8th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. Her parents were dentists and teacher recognized and supported her interest in theatre and drama at an early age, which overcame her initial ambition to become a primatologist due to her obsession with monkeys. The early success of her career and the rapid growth in popularity made her a promising young actor.
